Is a straw house fire-safe?

Our panels meet strict fire resistance standards. Walls have NRO classification (non-flammable), and the roof meets the BROOF (t1) standard. Tests confirmed no fire penetration and no flaming droplets.

Does straw rot or develop mold?

The straw in the panels is compressed and protected with a plaster layer, which prevents moisture access. The walls “breathe” and naturally regulate humidity, preventing mold formation.

Can rodents or insects appear in the walls?

Compressed straw has a very high density (~110 kg/m³), making it unsuitable for rodents or insects. Additionally, the structure is tightly sealed with plaster.

How durable are straw panel homes?

The structure based on C24 wood and compressed straw provides high strength. Panel load capacity reaches up to 27 tons, with seismic resistance up to 9 on the Richter scale.

How long does construction take?

Wall assembly takes just 3-10 days, and the entire house can be ready to move in within approximately 3-5 months.
